Sun Microsystems manufactured (and still manufacture) a range of thin clients marketed under the name "Sun Ray".
For the sake of completeness I've decided to add the Sun Ray to this site but, as far as I'm aware, nobody has actually repurposed a Sun Ray thin client. If you know better please click on the link below and pass on what you know.
Sun Rays use the proprietary ALP (Appliance Link Protocol) to talk to Sun Ray Servers. They do not use the RDP/Citrix ICA protocols used by most other thin clients.
So far there are only photographs of a Sun Ray 2FS on the site. One day I might get round to adding a Sun Ray 1.
