For the Neoware thin clients there is a handy document on the HP website which you can use to identify exactly what you have - but doesn't actually cover the Eon!. In my case the label on the side of the case just says Eon. I have another that's a 6000S. The model number just indicates how much flash and RAM is fitted along with the operating system.
The 6000S has a 256Mb DiskOnModule, 256Mb RAM and runs XP Embedded Verison 2002 service pack 2. The anonymous one has 16Mb DiskOnChip, 32M ram and runs Windows CE.
The basic specs are:
The case size is identical to the CA2 and larger than a lot of thin clients.

The Eon has an integral mains supply and the connector is a standard IEC "kettle" style connector.
Both the Flash memory and the RAM in the Eon are easily replaceable.
The flash is a "DiskOnModule" that interfaces via a 40-pin IDE connector (top right in photo). There is also an alternative DiskOnChip DIL socket (bottom mid-right of the picture).
The board has two sockets for RAM: one that takes 168-pin PC100 DIMM RAM (at the top in the picture) and one that takes a standard 144-pin SODIMM (upper left in picture). The PC100 RAM needs to be low profile if you intend to use it along with a PCI card.
A small riser card is plugged into the edge of the board. This carries an old style ISA connector and a PCI connector. Any board plugged in here covers the PC133 RAM slot so it may not be possible to use both at the same time.
