My thanks to those who take the time to email me - either with questions or with suggestions/news about what you've been doing. I try and respond fairly promptly to all emails - so if you've been ignored for a few days do try again as there is always a chance that your email has been misfiled by my ISP's spam filter. Your emails often do lead to updates of this website where I may add additional information and/or reword sections to save others having to ask the same thing. If it is something new you've discovered/done then it may well get added with an appropriate acknowledgement.

Having discovered an interesting site on somebody's use of the t5720 I've decided to add a "links" tab to the hardware pages. If you know of good descriptions of the use to which particular thin clients have been put please email me the details so that I can add them to the site.

Updates in 2015:

05/12  Various updates based on input from others. In particular the entries for the t610 (fitting three drives), t5710 (details on the 1.2GHz version), t5570 (adding an SSD), and the Sunray 2 (using it!).
19/11  In the past few months there have been a few trivial updates. A while ago I had some DevonIT thin clients to add. At that point I discovered the website that I used to produce the menu buttons no longer provided that service so I was stuck for a while. I've rejigged to the left-hand buttons so that they're generated via CSS rather than being images. If your browser messes things up please let me know what you're using and I'll try to fix the problem. Having sorted out the menu system a few more entries will appear when I have the time.
10/05  Updated the HP t510 entry now that I have one.
10/05  Added the Fujitsu Siemens s300 to the site.
01/05  Added the Cisco VXC-6215 to the site.
01/05  Added the alternative form of the Netvoyager LX1021 to the site. This is the TC3590 hardware. Also slightly restructured the netvoyager entries.
01/05  Added the Igel UD5 H700C to the site. Also slightly restructured the IGEL entry and added words to try and bring some sense to the Universal Desktop range. (Igel only live in the present. Some model names never change - "The King is dead, long live the King!").
17/04  Added an article to the site describing how to set up a thin client as a print server using CUPS.
15/02  Added the HP t610 to the site courtesy of Ken who provided the basic information and photographs.
09/01  Added Glenn Fetty's take on how to add a SATA drive to the HP t5740.
