The Fujitsu Futro S720 is a neat unit that is based on a Fujitsu mini-ITX motherboard (D3313). The S720 was announced in May 2014 and was based on an AMD 1st generation G-Series GX-217GA (1.65GHz, Dual Core, 1 MB, AMD Radeon HD 8280E). An upgraded version was announced a year later that was based on the AMD 2nd generation G-Series GX-222GC (2.20GHz, up to 2.4 GHz, Dual Core, 1 MB, AMD Radeon R5E).

Needless to say my S720 is the earlier model with the GX-217GA. Under the RAM is a label identifying the board as a D3313-B13 GS1. I'm not sure how you distinguish externally between the two models. The datasheet is no help. A search with Google found mention of various item model numbers for the different processor types:
They all begin VFY:S0720P and end with a two digit country code. After that your guess is as good as mine.

My S720 came with a 1.65GHz GX-217A CPU with Radeon 8280E graphics, 16GB mSATA SSD and 4GB of RAM. (The GX-222GC variant has Radeon R5E graphics). The licence sticker on the back of my S720 shows it had been running WS7P.

The S720 uses an external 19V-20V power supply. The connector is a standard 5.5mm/2.5mm coax connector.
My S720 is fitted with an AMD 1st generation dual core GX-217GA CPU. From AMD's publicity material:

The details I can find on Fujitsu's site are all about the D3313-S. The S720 is fitted with the D3313-B13 board. (It's marked on a paper label that's only visible if you remove the memory SODIMM). There is an extensive manual on the D3313-S motherboard. You need to search for TechNotes V1.4 Mini-ITX Industrial Mainboard D3313-S1/-S2/-S3 (eKabini) D3313-S4/-S5/-S6 (SteppeEagle). However you need to bear in mind that the D3313-B motherboard looks like it is a very much stripped down version of the -S board - a lot is missing. For example there is only a single SODIMM socket, the board will not run off 12V, there is no PCIe expansion socket....
I also managed to track down two documents entitled: Mainboard D3313 (Short description).
Essentially these are a tick list that show you exactly what is populated on the various permutations of the mainboard.
As this is based on a mini-ITX board there is obviously plenty of expansion opportunity starting with a reasonable amount of free space within the case where disk drives could be fitted. (Click on the photograph to get a more detailed view of the circuit board.)
CPU: Whilst the model range encompasses a number of different CPUs, these are specific builds. The CPU comes in a BGA package and so is soldered to the board and not socketed.
Flash: The board carries an mSATA socket and a conventional SATA data socket. My unit was fitted with a 16GB mSATA SSD. The SATA data socket is located under the fins of the heatsink. If you want to use it you'll have to remove the heatsink first and then use a SATA data cable with a right-angle connector. For drive power there is space for a 4-pin connector by the SODIMM sockets labelled PWR. Unfortunately the connector is not fitted.
RAM: The board is tracked for a single SODIMM socket. It takes a DDR3 1066MHz memory. I've used both a PC3 4GB part from Hynix (HMT451S6BFR8C-PB) and also a PC3L 8GB part (HMT41GS6BFR8A-PB). Both worked.
USB: There are two USB sockets on the front and four on the rear. Internally there is one header on the motherboard that provides a further single port. Although both rows of pins are provided, it is only the row closest to the SODIMM socket that is active. (The other row could act as a take-off point for 5V power for an SSD).
mPCIe: There is a mPCIe socket on the board where you could fit a wireless card.
