Backpanel view of an Itona fitted with 6VLE-VXL motherboard
I believe this motherboard to be fitted to the TC38xx and TC39xx series. What I have is a TC3841 and a TC3931.

Linux's cpuinfo tells us:

The motherboard is made by Gigabyte and has 6VLE-VXL screen printed on it. A google search will show you that there is a GA-6VLE. I don't know if the 6VLE-VXL has any special tweaks or is just the same board labelled for VXL. It uses the C3 CPU, CLE266 Northbridge, VT8235 Southbridge and VT1211 SuperIO chip.
As they are based on mini-ITX boards both the Flash memory and the RAM in the Itona are easily replaceable.
Flash: The flash memory is a Disk-On-Module plugged into the red 40-pin IDE connector. It is powered through the IDE connector. (Pin 20, normally removed as a 'key', is fitted and is used to supply the power). There is a second IDE connector, but pin 20 is missing from this one.
RAM: There is a single 184-pin DDR DIMM socket for the RAM. The speed rating is PC266 (aka PC-2100).
USB: There is a spare USB header on the motherboard (labelled USB2) adjacent to the header which is connected to the two front panel USB sockets.
PCI: The board does have a PCI slot on it, but the case not engineered in a way that would let you make use of it.
